Harry Fisher was the proprietor of Fisher Automotive Repair at 675 Raymond Street in Akron. Fisherβs services included standard repairs and towing. In 1941, advertisements and legal notices for Standard Automotive Repair placed the automotive service business at 675 Raymond Street. Harry Fisher continued to be listed as the manager of the automotive business, which suggests that the name of Fisher Automotive Repair may have been changed to Standard Automotive Repair. By 1955, the building at 675 Raymond St. had been repurposed into a general contracting firm.
